GEOX is an incorporated company that has been providing consulting services for mineral exploration and exploitation since 2023.
The company was founded by Lucie Mathieu, Ph.D., P.Geo., member of the Order of Geologists of Quebec (OGQ) since 2016 (permit n° 01774).
Lucie Mathieu obtained her doctorate in 2010 from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. She worked for the research and development group Consorem (from 2012 to 2017), was a professor at the University of Quebec in Chicoutimi (UQAC, from 2017 to 2022), and worked for the private sector (Kobold Metals, from 2022 to 2023).
Lucie Mathieu has experience in the following fields: economic geology and mineral exploration (Li pegmatites, Ni-Cu and Fe-Ti-V deposits of magmatic origin, Archean Cu-Au porphyries, orogenic gold, IRGS - intrusion related gold systems), petrology, chemical evolution of magmas, geology of cratons (in particular that of the Superior), quantification of hydrothermal alteration, and dating by laser ablation (LA-ICP-MS) on zircon grains.
